Welcome!

Since 1998 the various state Monaros clubs have taken it in turns to host a national event, approximately every 2 years. These include the events at Wangaratta Vic (1998, 2000 and 2002), Bathurst NSW (2004), Loxton SA (2006), Ballarat Vic (2008), Warwick QLD (2010), Busselton WA (2012), Barossa Valley SA (2014), Penrith NSW (2016), Launceston Tas (2018), 2020 in Vic was sadly cancelled due to COVID-19), Toowomba QLD (2022), Wangaratta Vic (2024) and now Mount Barker SA (2026).

Despite the clubs hosting these events, they are open to all owners of Monaros (and HQ SS sedans, HX LE and HSV coupes).

Confirmed Program Outline:

Friday 9th 9:30am - 4pm – Scrutineering at Mount Barker
Friday 9th 6:30pm – Meet and Greet – The Summit Café and Function Centre, Mount Lofty
Saturday 10th 10am - 4pm (entrants arrival 7:30am - 9:30am) – Show and Shine – Mount Barker Showground Oval
Sunday 11th 8:30am -12.30pm – Driving Event (optional) – The Bend Motorsports Park, Tailem Bend
Sunday 11th 6pm - 10pm – Presentation Dinner (optional) – Wolf Blass Event Centre, Morphettville Race Course
Monday 12th 10am - 2:30pm– Region cruise and farewell lunch – Mount Lofty to National Motor Museum Birdwood – Note also the iconic annual “Bay to Birdwood” event is being held the following Sunday -18th October. Their website is https://baytobirdwood.history.sa.gov.au/

Approximate driving Distances/times: Adelaide CBD to Mount Barker 33kms - 30 mins; Mount Barker to Mount Lofty; 21kms - 17 mins; Mount Barker to Morphettville 37kms - 40 mins; Mount Barker to Tailem Bend 66kms - 60 mins; Mount Barker to Birdwood 36kms - 37 mins.
