Exciting news for car enthusiasts. Today we announced the SA Car Club Grants Program. The $2 million program will provide $500,000 worth of grants per year, over four years, to support local clubs host bigger and better events while meeting rising operating costs, including managing their role within the Conditional Registration Scheme. From 1 July 2022, owners of historic or left-hand drive vehicles 25 years or older can access reduced car registration fees under the Conditional Registration Scheme. 
Previously, vehicles had to be 30 years or older.
This is great news for historic vehicle owners, with more South Australians now eligible for cheaper car registration as the scheme expands to include vehicles manufactured before 1997, rather than before 1992 under the previous restriction. Conditional Registration Scheme Extended - 1st July 2022
